The Canon CLC 1140 offers advanced features such as Real Time
Calibration, which uses sensors to measure gradation levels every few
pages, Finer-Brighter Toner, Single-step Direct Transfer System,
Press-like Density Curve (when connected to the ColorPASS-Z650) which
simulates the non-linear curve density of printing presses to provide
the closest possible match to offset output, and Color Automatic Image
Refinement with Tag Bit Support for finer line and text detail.
The CLC
1140 can be configured with a variety of productivity-enhancing options
such as the Recirculating Document Feeder and Stapler Sorter. Connect
the CLC 1140 to a ColorPASS Color Server for a powerful, high-speed file
processing and printing system that increases productivity levels for
even the most demanding color-conscious users.
Features
- Through Tag Bit Support, the CLC 1140 can produce two different
screen resolutions on the same page - one for text, the other for
background, a great way to impose text over graphics.
- Canon's Automatic Image Refinement boosts the image resolution
of the CLC 1140 to the equivalent of 800 x 400 dpi, delivering superior
text and finer detail.
- Canon's Finer, Brighter Toner enables the CLC 1140 to yield a
wide range of colors and maintain proper toner density, producing every
color accurately and consistently.
- The CLC 1140's Single-Step Direct transfer System transfers
toner directly from the photosensitive drum to the paper, four times for
each color, dramatically reducing the effects of environmental
conditions on image quality.
